Associate Partner || Linda Onyango

Ms. Onyango is an Associate Partner with MNCAA. Ms. Onyango is also the founder and C.E.O of the SME Support centre in Kenya whose goal is to scale up the Kenyan entrepreneurial ecosystem by addressing the ecosystem gaps. Ms.Onyango is a management and financial consultant with over 10 years’ experience in business advisory, capital raising and market entry support gained from workingat the management level for blue chip advisory firms -- such as KPMG and PWC.

Ms.Onyango’s consulting experience cuts across clients in the public and private sector and across multiple industries with a keen focus on the agricultural and renewable energy sector. She been involved in numerous business consulting assignments in the agriculture sector in East Africa and most notably was instrumental in the successful implementation of one of the largest public sector mergers in the agriculture sector in Kenya that involved the collapse of 10 separate state directorates into one directorate called the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Authority (AFFA).

Ms. Onyango has also through business advisory supported the roll out, scale and adoption of renewable energy technologies such as solar irrigation, solar refrigeration, biogas technologies and mini-grids in East Africa. In 2017, Ms. Onyango’s contribution in the renewable energy & farming nexus in Kenya earned her an award as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) shapers and talents from Kenya. Ms. Onyango has aMaster’s of Business Administration Graduate from Strathmore Business School (Nairobi)in partnership with the IESE Business School (Barcelona). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kenyatta University in Kenya and is also a chartered certified accountant.
